Pennsylvania motorcycle accidents: Older couple seriously hurt

Motorcycle enthusiasts enjoy this time of year due to more favorable weather and driving conditions. Unfortunately, with increased travel by motorcycle, there is also an increase in motorcycle accidents. When an accident occurs involving a motorcycle, it can be very dangerous for riders. Recently, a Pennsylvania couple were severely injured when a sedan struck them.

Pennsylvania man faces insurance fraud charge

Insurance exists to protect property owners financially in the event of unexpected damage or destruction. Some Pennsylvania residents may not realize that filing a false insurance claim could lead to criminal charges. Nationwide Insurance recently reported a man's insurance claim to authorities, and he now faces criminal charges of fraud and theft by deception.

4 boys alleged assault captured on viral Facebook video

Social media started as a way to connect with friends over the internet, but it has grown to encompass a multitude of uses. These days, suspected criminal activity is often spread by social media before an accused individual has even stepped inside a court room. This can wreak havoc on the constitutional guarantee that every person accused of a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proved otherwise in court. Recently, the alleged assault of a mentally challenged man by four young boys in Pennsylvania was seen by millions on Facebook before the boys were charged with any crime.

Drunk driving, stolen gun, other charges filed against woman

Although anyone accused of a criminal offense is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty, the mere stigma of being criminally charged can negatively impact a person's life and future. Recently, one Pennsylvania woman was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving. Unfortunately, her legal troubles quickly became more complicated when a stolen gun was discovered, and she allegedly attempted to use a passport in place of her drivers license.

Tragic Pennsylvania truck accidents claim lives

Unfortunately, accidents occur on Pennsylvania roadways on a daily basis. Despite their frequent occurrence, people usually do not anticipate being involved in one. Accidents can result in physical, emotional and financial damage to any person involved. Truck accidents can be especially damaging due to the significantly larger size of these vehicles in comparison to other vehicles. Recently, a multi-vehicle accident involving two tractor-trailers resulted in the death of two people.
