At the University Of Alabama, five fraternity members were arrested on charges of hazing. The fraternity involved was Phi Gamma Delta and sanctions have been placed against the fraternity, prohibiting them from any social events or activities involving new members.

Allegedly, the pledges were made to stand in buckets of salt and ice which caused injuries.

The University Of Alabama has issued a statement saying it will not tolerate hazing and it is taking these allegations serious. The university is also urging other students to report incidents of hazing.
